It all started when I tried to buy a pew…
In 2018, a few years after Tipsy Canoe Designs started at my parents kitchen table, we had the opportunity to purchase our recently decommissioned local church. The process started when I went to purchase the pew that my grandparents sat at for years (cue my soft spot for all things family and local nostalgia). The last few years have been dedicated to finding our footing with Tipsy Canoe in our new home, renovating the church to live in and also provide a space to rent for short terms stays, and somehow make it all work while teaching high school full-time. We’re excited to be able to offer The Church on the Grande for short term rentals.
